PayAnalytics founders at The Workplace Equity Forum '22

Two of our founders, Margret Bjarnadottir and David Anderson, will speak at the Workplace Equity Forum '22 this October in Austin, Texas. The conference will feature speakers offering new perspectives on how to think about diversity, equity, and inclusion.

When Is a Pay Gap Closed?

Dr. David Anderson will discuss how organizations can decide when they need to take action to address a pay gap when they can conclude that a pay gap is “close enough” to be closed. How close is good enough? And how does that change based on company size and regression model strength?

There Are No Colorblind Models in a Colorful World

Dr. Margret Bjarnadottir will introduce and examine the concepts of machine learning bias and algorithmic fairness in the context of pay equity. She will also highlight best practices and discuss data and modeling biases directly related to pay equity.
