PayAnalytics founders at The Workplace Equity Forum '22

Two of our founders, Margret Bjarnadottir and David Anderson, will speak at WorldatWork's conference this October in Austin, Texas. The Workplace Equity Forum '22 will feature speakers offering new perspectives on how to think about diversity, equity, and inclusion.

When Is a Pay Gap Closed?

Dr. David Anderson will discuss how organizations can decide when they need to take action to address a pay gap and when they can conclude that a pay gap is “close enough” to be closed. How close is good enough? And how does that change based on company size and regression model strength?

There Are No Colorblind Models in a Colorful World

Dr. Margret Bjarnadottir will introduce and examine the concepts of machine learning bias and algorithmic fairness in the context of pay equity. She will also highlight best practices and discuss data and modeling biases directly related to pay equity.

It is certainly becoming more important for companies today to implement a strong diversity, equity and inclusion strategy within the workplace. Both David and Margret are passionate about pay equity and how to support organizations in making data driven decisions. If you are lucky enough to attend the Workplace Equity Forum'22 and listen to our founders share their knowledge, David will be speaking on October 4th at 1:15 PM-2:00 PM and Margret on October 5th at 9:00 AM-9:45 AM.
