User access controls

Provide each user with the access they need

Provide each user with the access they need. PayAnalytics lets you manage user access at the individual level or, for easy maintenance, create user roles that apply the same access settings to multiple users.

Give Your Users the Access They Need

When it comes to data and features, different users have different access needs. PayAnalytics Enterprise users can easily customize access settings, even for organizations with many users in different roles.

Data access management

Within each dataset, you can control user access at the individual employee level:

  • Should the user only see employees in a specific department?
  • Should the user only be able to view specific information about each employee (e.g., see the compensation without being able to identify individual employees)?
  • Should the user be able to view detailed information about each employee or should they only see aggregated information?

Using labels to control access

You can use labels to control access to different items (e.g., datasets):

  • Define which labels the user should have access to and control their access by adding or removing labels from each item.
  • Label-based access controls can be used for:
Confidentiality, e.g., to restrict access to datasets, job evaluations, pay bands or compensation benchmarking items.
Simplicity, e.g., to reduce the list of presets a user can apply.

Feature access management

Easily manage available features:

Different users have different tasks, and you can tailor their access to features depending on their individual needs. For example, if the user works in recruitment, they will likely only need access to the Compensation Assistant feature.

Operation access management

It's up to you to decide which operations each user can carry out in PayAnalytics:

  • Should the user be able to upload datasets?
  • Should the user be able to run pay equity analyses?
  • Should the user be able to modify system parameters?
  • Should the user be able to manage the access of other users?
